"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Rage Against The Machine Suffer Power Outage

According to PerthNow, the power blew half way through RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE's opening track "Testify" at the band's February 3 concert at Claremont Showgrounds in Perth, Australia. Stunned audience members, many of whom had paid the ticket price just to see the newly reformed RAGE, held their breath. Would the band storm off stage? Was this the end of the night? The band continued on good naturedly, letting the crowd sing along to the unamplified music.

"Let's try that again shall we," frontman Zach de la Rocha declared when the power was restored.

"Good evening, we are RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE from Los Angeles California."

Great band, the need for new material for them is such that our pending water and oil shortages pale.

Heh, I was there, we thought there was going to be a riot for sure. The set was kickarse though - nothing new, but that's ok - their old sh** is good and they haven't done anything to tarnish their legacy.

Rage is a very talented band - but I have to say - I hate the rap vocals of their singer. Damn - what the hell is his name - Zack De La Rocha.....hate that dude's voice. I would rather listen to Downset or Biohazard.
