Rage Against The Machine Suffer Power Outage
According to PerthNow, the power blew half way through RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE's opening track "Testify" at the band's February 3 concert at Claremont Showgrounds in Perth, Australia. Stunned audience members, many of whom had paid the ticket price just to see the newly reformed RAGE, held their breath. Would the band storm off stage? Was this the end of the night? The band continued on good naturedly, letting the crowd sing along to the unamplified music.
"Let's try that again shall we," frontman Zach de la Rocha declared when the power was restored.
"Good evening, we are RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE from Los Angeles California."
