Swedish black metal masters have issued a statement on the group’s inclusion on Bulgaria’s “Top Metal Concert” chart:

“Last year we co-headlined the "THRASH TIL DEATH 2007" in Kavarna, Bulgaria with Sepultura. It just came to our attention that the show reached the third place on the annual Top Metal Concert chart in Bulgaria. In first place came the Manowar gig, which also took place Kavarna. Iron Maiden’s show in Sofia came second.

"This was the first time we played Bulgaria, and it was a pleasure indeed. We are already looking forward to coming back, but that won't unfortunately be until we have a new album out, but when we do, be sure that we will be back!

"We would like to take this opportunity to thank Vesko and the local crew for their professionalism. And of course each and every one of you who came out to the show and made it to a night to remember. Hail METAL! See you next time!”

You can check out some fan-shot videos of the show on Youtube (#1, #2, #3) or embedded below.

As previously reported, three re-mastered releases from the Dark Funeral catalog - “The Secrets of the Black Arts,” “Vobiscum Satanas,” and “Diabolis Interium” – were reissued with bonus material last summer by Regain Records.

The reissues were followed by the fall release of Dark Funeral’s first-ever DVD set, “Attera Orbis Terrarum - Part 1,” also through Regain Records. The two-disc set consists of three complete, professionally-filmed live shows and rare bonus footage. The first show was filmed with seven cameras o March 12, 2005 in Katowic, Poland. The second was filmed the following March in Tilburg, The Netherlands with four cameras. The second disc starts off with a camera-shot show from March 2006 in Paris, followed by the video clip for "Atrum Regina" and previously unreleased amateur footage that chronicles Dark Funeral's entire career, including the very first, and now legendary, show in Oslo, Norway on May 4, 1994. The total combined running time for the two discs is nearly four hours.
