Year Of Desolation Have Nine New Songs Written
Indiana-based thrashers YEAR OF DESOLATION have issued the following update:
"We've been hard at work over the last few months writing a new record, and we've got about nine songs done and they are all expansive on our past works. The melodies are more melodious, the thrash is more hightop, and of course the death metal is still brutal! We're working on getting some touring lined up and hopefully be in the studio sometime late this year.
As far as the video for 'Suffer Thy Nemesis' goes, we're still going through 'red tape' to get it aired on some television channels that you might all be familiar with. But if worst comes to worst, we'll be releasing it on YouTube and MySpace shortly... stay tuned!"
During two off days in Los Angeles while on the THINE EYES BLEED tour, director Zach Voytas shot footage that will shortly become the video to "Suffer Thy Nemesis", a track from YEAR OF DESOLATION's self-titled Prosthetic Records debut. A few photos can be seen online here.
YEAR OF DESOLATION's second full-length CD, "Year of Desolation", was released in January 2007.
