Type O Negative To Re-release New Album
Just in time for Valentine's Day, goth/rock legends TYPE O NEGATIVE have announced the February 12 release of two special editions of their acclaimed new album "Dead Again".
The deluxe CD version will contain a bonus DVD with exclusive live performances, interviews and studio videos. The discs will be repackaged in a special red cover. A limited-edition triple-vinyl box set will also be released and features "Dead Again" on high-quality 180-gram vinyl. The vinyl box set will contain the bonus DVD, along with an exclusive t-shirt and mp3 files of the album.
In other TYPE O NEGATIVE news, the stunning new video for "September Sun" will be making its small-screen debut on MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball" this Saturday, January 12 during the first hour of the broadcast.
TYPE O NEGATIVE drummer Johnny Kelly and guitarist Kenny Hickey will take part in several signing sessions during this year's NAMM show (National Association of Music Merchants), which runs from January 17 to January 20 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
The signing schedule for Johnny and Kenny at NAMM for Saturday, January 19:
Kenny:
3 p.m. - Schecter
Johnny:
1 p.m. - Latin Percussion
2 p.m. - Pearl Drums
3 p.m.- Sabian Cymbals
Important: The NAMM Show is **NOT** open to the public. The only attendees are NAMM member companies and their invited guests.
Kelly and Hickey will also perform with their SEVENTH VOID side project later that night as part of the Schecter Guitars showcase.
Rounded out by bassist Hank Hell (INHUMAN) and guitarist Matt Brown (ex-SUPERMASSIV), SEVENTH VOID contines TYPE O's tradition of slow, heavy riffs and existential lyrics, but with a slightly sludgier, "stonier" flavor.
The band's upcoming album will reportedly be co-mixed by Vinnie Paul (PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN).
