Centinex Cancel Vinyl Release Plan Of Final Album
Swedish metallers CENTINEX, who announced their split in April 2006, have abandoned plans to release a vinyl and tape/cassette version of their final album, "World Declension". According to the band, "the [vinyl] release got delayed several times by Agonia Records so tired of waiting, we canceled the whole thing and told the label to drop the plans. This goes also for the tape version,. We haven't heard a word from In Coffin Records, so most likely this release will also be forgotten."
"World Declension" was released in North America in September 2005 via Candlelight Records USA. The album received a European release in June 2005 through Cold/Regain Records.
Several former members of CENTINEX have resurfaced in a new band called DEMONICAL. DEMONICAL's debut album, "Servants of the Unlight", was released in April via Germany's Cyclone Empire Records.
