Meldrum Singer Schedules Solo Concert

MELDRUM vocalist Moa Holmsten has scheduled a solo gig at Mosebacke in Stockholm, Sweden on January 4. More information is available on her MySpace page.

Gene Hoglan (DARK ANGEL, DEATH, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, TESTAMENT) has finished laying down drums for MELDRUM's third CD, due sometime next year.

MELDRUM's sophomore album, "Blowin' Up The Machine" was released in Europe in May on Frontiers Records (it came out in the U.S. last month). MOTÖRHEAD mainman Lemmy Kilmister makes a guest appearance on the track "Miss Me When I'm Gone", for which he wrote the lyrics and co-wrote the music. In addition, Gene Hoglan can be heard on four songs, while guitarist Michelle Meldrum's former PHANTOM BLUE bandmate Linda McDonald was responsible for laying down the drum tracks on the rest of the CD.
