Life of Agony Announce East Coast Tour Dates

LIFE OF AGONY has scheduled the following dates:

Jan. 09 - The Crazy Donkey - Farmingdale, NY
Jan. 10 - The Blender Theater - New York, NY
Jan. 11 - The Stone Pony - Asbury Park, NJ

Support on the shows will come from BOBAFLEX and THE SPYDERZ (featuring former BIOHAZARD bassist/vocalist Evan Seinfeld).

LIFE OF AGONY is putting the finishing touches on its new DVD release, entitled "Life of Agony: Cult Classics Live in Europe 2007". Footage was taken from performances on the New York-based band's last European summer tour. The majority of the DVD includes live songs taken from Begium's Graspop Metal Meeting where the group performed in front of a crowd of 50,000 people. The DVD also features scenes from Germany's Serengeti Festival as well as backstage tour antics. A 2008 release is expected.

LIFE OF AGONY spent most of 2006 and early 2007 on a break after completing its successful touring cycle for the 2005 Epic Records release, "Broken Valley". The band is currently without a record deal, having parted ways with Epic in 2005. In the meantime, lead singer Keith Caputo released a solo album, titled "Heart's Blood on Your Dawn", and has a new CD, "A Fondness for Hometown Scars" (recorded in April 2007), on the way. Guitarist Joey Z has opened a recording studio in Brooklyn, NY called Method of Groove Studio and has successfully produced and mixed BRAND NEW SIN's latest release for Century Media. Joey has also teamed up with Peter Steele (TYPE O NEGATIVE) to reform CARNIVORE. Drummer Sal Abruscato has been actively building custom motorcycles and recently won an award for his latest creation. He is also putting together a new band called MY MORTALITY featuring vocalist Paul Stoddard (DIECAST) and guitarist Gene Blank (LOURDS). New music will be released sometime in 2008.
