Sinphonia Working On New Material

SINPHONIA, the Danish dark melodic metal band featuring ex-SIRENIA singer Monika Pedersen, HATESPHERE drummer Dennis Buhl, CHAOSWAVE guitarist Henrik "Guf" Rangstrup, and newly added bassist Leif N (JANUARY JAUNT), has commenced work on new material. The group — which has released two full-length albums so far (2000's "When the Tide Breaks" and 2001's "The Divine Disharmony") through Lucretia Records — is searching for a new label home for its upcoming third CD. The as-yet-untitled new effort is scheduled for release late next year.

According to a press release, SINPHONIA's new material will not be far removed from that on the 2005 "Silence" EP, although it will include "a darker yet more melodic touch."

The three songs from the "Silence" EP can be heard on the band's MySpace page.
