CHILDREN OF BODOM bassist Henkka T. Blacksmith has checked in with the following studio update:

"Good morning!

Yesterday was the second day Jaska was recording seriously, and again he managed to put three songs together. So it's quite a good pace I think. 'Eka', 'Toka', 'Hidas', 'Tiroli (Trioli)', 'Pekingin Kasvis' and 'Uusin' (working titles) are now done, so a couple of days of drumming ahead! We also tried to figure out some cover songs yesterday while rehearsing. We will definitely cover at least three songs."

As previously reported, ChildrenOf Bodom will see their forthcoming new album available in Europe on April 7th via Spinefarm. Prior to the album's release, a new single will be available as of March 3rd.

Children Of Bodom are scheduled to play London, England's Astoria venue on March 8th. Fellow Finns MOONSORROW and KIUAS have been confirmed as the support acts.

Advance tickets are currently available here and via a 24 hour credit card line at 0870 400 0688.

we gotta wait another 5 months for a single? If they're hyping it up this far in advance, it better up to par with everything they ever did (that was good).
