As I Lay Dying's new album 'An Ocean Between Us' has debuted at No. 8 on this weeks Billboard Top 200 chart with 39,000 copies sold. Sixx:A.M.'s debut 'The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack' debuted at No. 63 selling 11,000 copies while Adema moved 2,000 copies of 'Kill the Headlights'

AILD's new cd is pretty good, they kinda crossed a few genres on the disc, but overall a good buy. I like the thrash elements they have added to their sound.

They do have a few songs that are thrash, but they AREN'T a thrash band. Within Destuction sounds like Slayer almost, and a couple other songs that are thrashy. They just blended elements, that's all. They're probably the only good metalcore band out there.

I think the new AILD record is their best progression musically between albums that they've made yet, and it's only fitting to see that they have moved so many copies of their record already, and Unearth use to be good, until they completely changed their sound to sh**core metal. AILD is easily the only metalcore band worth listening and at least in my opinion, the best metal act out there today.

Death being like Amon Amarth, Thrash being like Exodus, Heavy being like BLS.... I'm not saying these people hate other genres but fans like these listen mostly to there favourite Metal genre and hearing people think there favourite band kinda sounds like your favourite genre... gets irritating. I know some people on this site go overboard, but there dumb sh**s, and if someone says your favourite band sucks we actually mean it's not our style. We're not saying its not brutal enough or anything, just not our cup of tea.. <;-- yea I know lame saying but it works.

Metallian, I mostly agree with you...except for your talk of genres. One of the reasons I love metal so much is because it's such a vast genre. From Progressive Metal to Death, it all varies too much to be put into 3 simple genres. Other then that, you're very very right, and people should defiantly listen to what you have to say. You're more then the average metal fan good sir.

As for AILD, I'm really not a big fan of them, but I'll see if I can borrow the CD from a friend or something. Never been a huge metalcore fan actually...
