Solace of Requiem Seeks Guitarist for European Tour and New Record

Solace of Requiem is close to finishing the paperwork for their eight new tracks that are scheduled to be produced and engineered by the "Living Legend" Andy Classen at Stage-One-Studio in Borgentreich, Germany this October. SOR plans to shop at least four of the new tracks to prospective labels as a demo. The remaining tracks will be kept as a failsafe measure in the event that they would be forced to release the material on their own. However, the band feels confident that a label will recruit them after hearing the demo recording. Solace of Requiem is also planning a possible Guest Spot (Or Two) on the new album.

"It was such a huge thrill to have Bret Hoffmann on the Utopia Reborn CD, that it would be foolish not to explore the possibility of having one or more Legends of the Game come in to the studio and add some tracks to the mix......."

Currently the band is seeking a second guitarist to accompany Chris for recording and European dates this fall. This is an excellent opportunity for any dedicated musician looking to go pro.

The job description is as follows: learn the number tab “independently” in a little over one month (starting immediately) / Begin a practice regimen as a complete band in Virginia Beach, Virginia for approx one month (prior to leaving for Germany in October) / Record the new CD in Germany / Go on a small tour after recording the CD.

As stated in the press release by Solace of Requiem, the ideal candidate should be equipped with a valid passport, as the band plans to make their decision soon.

This is what you get out of the deal: "Keep in mind that all of this info would be included in a binding contract between the guitarist and band. Once terms have been reached, both parties will be required to sign the contract! You will be paid a one-time flat rate for your participation in the entire endeavor. You will receive thirty percent of that flat rate upon signing. The other seventy percent will be given to you upon successful completion of your duties. The total amount of that rate would be determined by your experience and abilities. You will not be required (in any way) to pay travel expenses for yourself or your EQ. Once you’ve arrived in Virginia Beach (until you get back to your own home) you will be given free drinks, fed one meal a day, have a bed to sleep in every night and you will be
expected to pay for nothing except for personal things through the trip’s duration."
