SUICIDE SILENCE have set The Cleansing as the title to their upcoming new album, which is set for a September 18th release. A new track, “Unanswered,” has just been posted on the band’s official MySpace page along with the disc’s cover art and official track listing.

This new effort was recorded with producer John Travis (Static-X), while the renowned Tue Madsen (Himsa, The Haunted) handled mixing duties. The artwork for The Cleansing was handled by Dave McKean (Mirrormask, Sandman comics) and Mitch Lucker (vocals) states: “From the very beginning, we wanted artwork that would separate ourselves from other bands and add some value to the purchase so fans would be less prone to simply download the record. Dave went above and beyond helping us achieve that as he created an entire layout that exceeded our expectations and further enhanced the album artistically.”
