DRY KILL LOGIC has issued the following update:

"The response to the new album, 'Of Vengeance and Violence', has been tremendous. It is awesome to see that our longtime fans are enjoying the new music as well as plenty of new converts to the DRY KILL LOGIC camp, and it is humbling to see so much support after so many years. Our spring 2K6 Euro run was great, Australia was an unforgettable run with FEAR FACTORY and DEVILDRIVER and the fall 2K6 Euro tour was lots of fun. Big ups to Mark 'Fish n Chips' Stickland, Ollie and our longtime compadre Bubba all for respective jobs well done. You couldn't have asked to tour with better people. Geinfeistenvoorg! Nooduitgang!

"Amazing to think that was so long ago.

"Since then, life has been a bit less awe-inspiring; we decided to part ways with Repossession Records soon after our return to the U.S. Call it what you will (and believe me, there are MANY things to call it), but the bottom line is we are back on our own two feet and it feels GREAT. Some people feel content to pour syrup on shit and call it pancakes their whole lives, and having finally rid ourselves of that element leaves us in a much better position than we have been in quite some time. Being a band in today's day and age presents a myriad of challenges, but along with those challenges it also presents many opportunities and there are many things in the works that will allow us to continue bringing our the music to the people that mean the most — the fans.

"Unfortunately, we returned to the U.S. without plans to tour and have yet to find a situation that makes sense for the band — touring in the music industry of today requires a lot more tenacity and hard work than one might expect."

"Of Vengeance and Violence" was released last September. An EP/DVD, entitled "The Magellen Complex", preceded the album in June 2006 via Psychodrama/Repossession Records. Described by the band as a "tribute to the fans," the CD also contained a cover version of GUNS N' ROSES' "It's So Easy", plus an original track called "From Victim to Killer" that was also included on "Of Vengeance and Violence".
