Overkill Signs With Bodog Music, TVT Europe

Veteran East Coast thrashers OVERKILL have signed with Bodog Music in the U.S. and TVT in Europe for the release of their follow-up to 2005's "ReliXIV", tentatively due in September/October. A U.S. tour will immediately follow the album's release. Confirmed tour dates so far are as follows:

Oct. 06 - Starland Ballroom - Sayreville, NJ
Oct. 07 - The Trocadero - Philadelphia, PA

Oct. 09 - Rex Theater - Pittsburgh, PA
Oct. 10 - The Muse - Nashville, TN
Oct. 11 - The Mad Hatter - Covington, KY
Oct. 12 - Al Rosa Villa - Columbus, OH
Oct. 13 - Harpo's Concert Theater - Detroit, MI
Oct. 14 - The Pearl Room - Mokena, IL
Oct. 15 - The Rock - Maplewood, MN
Oct. 16 - Reverb - Cedar Falls, IO
Oct. 17 - Pops Annex - Sauget, IL
Oct. 18 - Peabody's - Cleveland, OH
Oct. 19 - The Chance Theater - Poughkeepsie, NY
Oct. 20 - Mark's Place - Bedford, NH
Oct. 21 - BB King's - New York City, NY

A video clip of OVERKILL vocalist Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth discussing how he suffered a stroke in 2002 was recently posted on the web site of "Get Thrashed: The Story of Thrash Metal", the much-anticipated documentary profiling the thrash metal scene of the early Eighties and its impact on the music scene.
