The Ocean Give Recording Update
Metal Blade recording artists The Ocean have issued an update on their recording progress:
"All the drums and most of the guitars for our new album have been recorded. We just got back from a barn in remote Northern Finland, where Torge, Matt and Robin spent the last 3 weeks in complete isolation, recording in shifts, day and night… we are extremely satisfied with the result thus far, and we can assure you that our new album will get closer than ever before to capturing our real sound. Even without much editing, the drums sound huge!"
"Still a long way to go though. The next months will be spent recordings more guitars, bass, vocals, cellos, piano and other instruments. We’re also working on an artwork concept."
As previously reported, the band is also seeking a new bass player. Interested parties should read up and contact them via their website.
