Mutiny To Record Four Song EP

Mutiny have updated on their recording situation via their Myspace blog:

Legacy Recording Studios in NYC is where we'll be recording our 4 song EP in late May, early June, with producer Ryan Kelly. Once finished, our press kits will be sent to record labels around the world.

2 new live videos from our latest show can be found at youtube.com/MutinyMetal

The next show is this Saturday, May 5th on The Saints & Sinners Stage at 11:30AM for The Bamboozle at Giants Stadium. For a line-up of bands playing that day, go to TheBamboozle.com.

Our headlining show on May 13th at Hamilton St. Cafe & Stage in Bound Brook, NJ will be the last show before we prepare to enter the studio.

I've seen this band a few bands and have met them as well.
In all honesty their live show lacks in almost all areas and they seem to be in it for the money.

Are you that good of a judge of character?

I can tell you right now that these guys are in it for the long haul. Yes, this is what they want to do for the rest of their lives. Metal isn't exactly a market for millionaires. Maybe you should try talking to them one more time.

As for their live show, that's a matter of opinion. They can play the music that's on their myspace note for note live. There's no disputing that. True, they play a stripped down metal show. The band, their gear, and the songs. No bullsh**. Are you looking for a Cradle of Filth type show or something?

I have the utmost faith in Mutiny. You'll see them touring the world and the nation some day. These guys are true metalheads.

Well, maybe I should talk to them one more time? I've talked to them several dozen times, so i doubt that one more time will make a difference. You may see them getting big, I don't. I just think that they're a bunch of douche bags trying to get big just to be big. I don't think they're truly metal and these days that's all that matters.
