Finland's AMORAL have issued the following update:
"Amoral is about to film a video for 'Leave Your Dead Behind', the single from the upcoming album Reptile Ride, and wants YOU to participate."
"The shooting will take place at Nosturi, Helsinki on Sunday, May 20th, and audience members should be there around 3 PM. The idea is to do a good-ol’ “band and audience going crazy at a gig” type video, so all moshers, stagedivers and headbangers are especially welcome."
"During that day we’ll also have the first public listening session of Reptile Ride, so if you’re interested to hear the new stuff, even more reasons to show up!"
Spinefarm Records has set a June 6th release date for Amoral's new e-single, 'Leave Your Dead Behind'. The band's back catalogue is also about to go digital: Wound Creations (2004) and Decrowning (2005) will both be released for online sale on May 23rd.
Amoral's new album, Reptile Ride, will be released by Spinefarm Records on August 15th, 2007.
The tracklisting of Reptile Ride is as follows: 'Leave Your Dead Behind', 'Nervasion', 'Hang Me High', 'Mute', 'Few And Far Between', 'Snake Skin Saddle', 'D-Drop Bop', 'Apocalyptic Sci-Fi Fun', 'Pusher'.
The opening track, 'Leave Your Dead Behind', will be released as a net single earlier this summer. A video for the song is also in the make.
For a bonus track for both the Japanese release of the album and the net single, the band recorded their take on Swedish popstar Pandora's song 'The Naked Sun'. For those familiar with this contemporary classic, expect... well, expect something different.
Reptile Ride was produced, recorded and mixed by Janne Saksa at Sound Supreme Studios in Hämeenlinna, Finland.
