Metallica Announce All 11 Sick Of The Studio 2007 Tour Dates

After six weeks of announcing a few dates here and there, Metallica has announced all 11 of the Sick Of The Studio 2007 tour dates that they will be playing this summer. The tour dates are as follows:

June 28 - Lisbon, POR, Super Bock Super Rock Festival
June 29 - Bilbao, SPA, Bilbao BBK Live Festival
July 1 - Werchter, BEL, Rock Werchter Festival
July 3 - Athens, GRE, Rockwave Festival
July 5 - Vienna, AUT, Rotundenplatz
July 8 - London, UK, Wembley Staduim
July 10 - Oslo, NOR, Valle Hovin Stadion
July 12 - Stockholm, SWE, Stadion
July 13 - Aarhus, DEN, Vestereng
July 15 - Helsinki, FIN, Olympic Stadium
July 18 - Moscow, RUS, Luzhniki Stadium

Almost every good metal group spends the majority of their time outside the states. The market here is dead. We live in an emo, hip-hop culture. Metal has never been infected in Europe like it has here. Also, alot of new markets are opening up all over the world thanx to the internet and globalism. The glory dayz are all but gone 4 us.

I think they're embarrased to play the US or something. They are from here but they barely ever f***ing tour here and they play everywhere else. Regardless of what they've sounded like in the past years I want to see them live because I haven't yet.

Please, the metal market in the US is far from dead. That's why you see more and more big tours and touring fests popping up. The reason everyone goes to Europe is because there are a number of huge one-off festivals. The audience is massive and the commitments are small for each band, as opposed to something like Ozzfest in which they've got to commit to the whole tour as well as a bunch of rules set up by the fest.
