One of the more skilled bands in the melodic-hardcore set, and easily the most influential (read: 1999's Opposite of December)....
They're responsible for alot of the metalcore drek out there being as big as it is though... At least they havent gone the way of Hopesfal....christ...

I've never been a fan of Hatebreed but if someone wanted a more complex and daring version of Hatebreed with some melodic vocals meshed with the throaty yelling...This would be the band to go to.

I dunno, I only heard one song that could even be called heavy in their set at Strhess Fest. I was quite shocked because I heard a little of their early stuff from my brother and I didn't recognize them by the stuff they played.

I have no clue beyond whats listed above what their new stuff sounds like, but "Opposite of December" and "You Come Before You" have some memorable tracks....with a distracting amount of filler as well.
