Omen Apologize For Missed Full Metal Festival
Omen founder/guitarist, Kenny Powell, has issued the following statement to Omen fans regarding the Full Metal Festival:
"Omen would like to apologize for any inconvenience that may have been caused to the fans trying to attend the Full Metal Fest in Mexico City, Mexico on Saturday, March 3rd.
We arrived at the airport in Dallas, Friday March 2nd, only to be informed that our tickets were reserved but no yet paid for. We spent the majority of the day waiting at the airport because we were told that our reserved tickets would in fact be paid for and that we would catch a later flight. We made every attempt possible to make the show and by early evening we were told that the entire festival was cancelled.
Omen never wishes to let our fans down and do everything in our power to ensure that every concert is 100% legitimate. We had no reason to believe otherwise, regarding the Full Metal Fest in Mexico. We were sincerely
looking forward to playing Mexico for the first time and we're looking for another promoter in hopes of having a concert there in the near future. Sincerely, Kenny Powell.”
