Fightstar To Release US Debut In April
Widely hyped U.K. metalcore band Fightstar will release their U.S. debut, Grand Unification, in April. The record was produced by Colin Richardson (Bullet for My Valentine, Cannibal Corpse), and while it holds together as a concept album, that wasn't the band's original intention. "When I hear something is a concept album, I always think, 'I hope this isn't a load of pretentious bullsh--,' " singer/guitarist Charlie Simpson said in a statement. "But gradually, as we wrote more lyrics, everything seemed to link together." Bassist Dan Haigh added: "The songs are supposed to be key moments in people's existences during that last day of the world. A lot of the music is born of a desire to capture something epic." Fightstar will make their Stateside performance debut with two March 15 shows at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas. A full U.S. tour will follow.

this band suck more than a $2 hooker.. seriously america do yourself a favour and DO NOT BUY THIS CACK!!!!!!!!
this is the "metal" band of a failed pop band that had 3 guitars no drums or bass... teeny bopper style metal.. ok if you are 12 and have no decent releases to buy get this and use it for a frisbee or drink coaster or something.. or just wait for the summer releases... do not forget this money could be spent on going to see a film at the cinema or given to the homeless or flushed down the toilet.. trust me all 3 of those options are better than buying this utter tripe.

Fighstar are definately worth listening to...dont listen to other peoples views and make up your own mines. so what , fightstar have a lead singer who was in a different genre of band previously , at least hes getting out their doing a job he loves, give them all a break, they work hard to achieve an album they are proud of. listen and you will see how much work and talent is in it. enough said.
