Lord Unveils "Ascendence" Cover Art

LORD has unveiled the cover of this year's forthcoming album, "Ascendence." The cover art may be viewed online here.

The cover art was created by Felipe Machado Franco with T-shirt art based on this design going into production in the next couple of months.

The band will also be hitting the live circuit again with an intimate show at the Palm Court Hotel in Wollongong on March 18, and a spot on the huge Overcranked Festival in Brisbane on March 24. More shows are in the final stages of being locked in around the middle of the year in support of the release of "Ascendence".

As recently announced, guitarist Mav Stevens left the band in December 2006 due to non band related personal reasons. LORD is continuing to audition replacement guitarists but as yet no decision has been made. For all upcoming gigs, LORD will be joined by Shane Linfoot, guitarist of rising Sydney melodic metal stars Transcending Mortality, until a permanent guitarist can be added.

Pre-production of "Ascendence" has commenced and the band expect a June release though Modern Invasion in Australia and New Zealand, with negotiations well underway for releases in other international territories.
