Deicide Kick Off Tour Without Glen Benton

Floridian death metallers DEICIDE kicked off their European tour on Friday, January 5 without frontman Glen Benton, who reportedly was forced to stay home to take care of pressing legal matters (although this has not been officially confirmed). Replacing Benton for the first four dates of DEICIDE's tour is SEVERE TORTURE drummer Seth van Loo, who previously took care of vocals in CENTURIAN and NOX.
Seth van Loo apparently learned 17 songs in one afternoon and did "a great job" at the first show of the trek, which took place in Eindhoven, Holland. [NOTE: Seth van Loo is only singing in the band; he is NOT playing bass. There is currently no replacement bassist in the group.]
These are the remaining dates of DEICIDE's European tour that will feature Seth van Loo on vocals:
Jan. 07 - GER - Saarbrucken @ Roxy
Jan. 08 - HOL - Rotterdam @ Baroeg

Damn I thought they were going to get Carrie Underwood (or however her name is spelled) to replace Mr. Benton. I heard she has a mean Death Metal voice. HAHAHAHAHAH
