Candlelight Records USA has posted DESTRUCTION's remake of their classic ‘Mad Butcher’ to the label's official MySpace site. Bring your browser to http://www.myspace.com/candlelightrecordsusa for a listen.

‘Mad Butcher’ comes from the band's forthcoming “Thrash Anthems” album, set to hit US stores on January 23. Alongside 12 other remakes, “Thrash Anthems” contains two brand new songs, ‘Deposition/Your Heads Will Roll’ and ‘Profanity’.

Destruction will kick off their first North American headlining tour with Sadus and Municipal Waste on January 20. Hirax will be taking Municipal Waste's place on select dates and Death Angel will be featured on one select date. All dates are as follows:

Im not a big fan of remakes, The original "Mad Butcher" has an edge to it. This one dose not.
I missed Destruction when they played Cincinnati on the metal cursaders tour, add to that, they played on 6/6/06.
I missed out BIG TIME...

Back in '85 when i brought this band to the "mad butcher" speech for my demonstrative speech, "demon"strative is key here, i hid this tape behind my stack of sport's shoewear so my mom didn find it, and I chickened out of my speech!!
I waited 2 more years to do some sort of nuclear holocaust survival speech instead...
