The Hope Conspiracy Status Update and Tour Dates

The Hope Conspiracy has provided an update regarding upcoming plans, including West Coast and European tours. Here's a statement from the band:

"We haven't said anything in quite awhile... so here we are. Our record "Death Knows Your Name" came out in September... we are extremely proud of how it turned out, and the response has been positive - so hell, we are happy. A lot of people want to know "are you going to tour?," "are you playing my city?" etc. Yes, and maybe. I can't be sure how many of you remember when bands would tour A. for fun/ B. when the members had time in their LIVES...that is what we are doing. It is kind of an 'old school approach' to be being in a band... NOT touring all the time.

Don't bother asking if we are going to be "full time" or any of that crap... fact is this band is who we are, what could possibly be more "full time" than that?

On to shows... we are doing what we can with the time we have, so sorry we won't be playing ... We are hitting California and Sweden for the first time in three years... both of which we are very excited about. We are also getting the opportunity to do another BBC live session when we hit London - last time we covered a discharge song (which most people haven't heard) and it was awesome, so maybe this time we will do something fun again... anyway we are looking forward to all of this."

Everyone should listen to this band HopeCon is one of the most important hardcore bands in music today. They play w/ every ounce of energy and emotion that they have. The only band in their genre (even though converge is much more technical) that can stand on the same level w/ them is converge who are liveing legends. Get out and support these guys. the new album is incredible.
