Changing Face Calling It Quits
California hardcore band Changing Face have announced that they will be breaking up. The band will be playing a final show with details to be announced in the near future.
Here is a statement from drummer Nick Rockwell:
"So many of you thought last night was a our last show. That is not true. We are going to set up a last show soon though. We are calling it quits because we are finding it more and more difficult for us to stay together with our new work schedules, school schedules, etc etc. Thanks to everyone who supported us, booked a show for us, bought anything, or just hung out with us and showed us a good time. It means the world. More news to come on a last show."
The band were to enter Sacramento's Deathbot Studios (Killing the Dream) on September 9th to record three new songs in addition to a re-recorded version of the song "Dead End" from their debut EP on Escapist Records. There has been no word on these recordings at this time.
