Belphegor Cancel European Tour To Take Part in X-Mass Fest

A representative for Nuclear Blast Germany has confirmed that BELPHEGOR have cancelled their previously announced European headlining tour, opting to take part in this year's X-Mass Festival 2006 European tour.

The band's headlining trek was supposed to kick off in November, and include SETHERIAL and WYKKED WYTCH.

The X-Mass Festival 2006 European tour will begin in early December, and will also feature SIX FEET UNDER, GOREFEST, CATARACT, KRISIUN and DARZAMAT. Confirmed dates are as follows:

8 - Fritz in Berlin, Germany
9 - Hellraiser in Engeldorf (Leipzig), Germany
10 - Planet Music in Wien, Austria
11 - Backstage in Munchen, Germany
12 - Z7 in Pratteln, Switzerland
13 - Rockfabrik in Ludwigsburg, Germany
14 - Batchkapp in Frankfurt, Germany
15 - La Laiterie in Strasbourg, France
16 - Hof Ter Loo in Antwerpen, Belgium
17 - 013 in Tilburg, Holland
18 - Zeche Carl in Essen, Germany
19 - La Locomotive in Paris, France

Belphegor's new album, Pestapokalypse VI, is due out on October 27 via Nuclear Blast Records.

In other tour news, the band will embark on a North American tour with UNLEASHED, KRISIUN and HATESPHERE in February.
