Battlelore Cancel European Tour With Draconian

BATTLELORE's previously announced European tour with DRACONIAN and DARZAMAT has been cancelled due to "booking problems," according to a posting on the Finnish "fantasy metal" band's web site. "BATTLELORE has nothing to do with the cancellation," the posting adds. "The whole band is deeply sorry for the fans and very disappointed in this situation."

BATTLELORE is scheduled to enter MusicBros Studio this month to begin recording its fourth album, tentatively due in early 2007. The follow-up to 2005's "Third Age of the Sun" will be produced by Miitri Aaltonen, who has previously worked with the group on their first two CDs, "...Where The Shadows Lie" (2002) and "Sword's Song" (2003).

"Third Age of the Sun" entered the Finnish album chart at position No. 38 back in August 2005. The CD was recorded at SoundSuite Studio in Marseille, France with producer Terje Refsnes (TRISTANIA, MORGUL, TURISAS). Mastering duties were handled at Finnvox studios in Helsinki.
