mewithoutYou Drop Off Warped Tour

With cancellations coming fast and furious, mewithoutYou has dropped off the Warped Tour. Like labelmates Underoath, the band is citing exhaustion, among other things:

"We will not be returning to Warped Tour. There are multiple reasons why... First and foremost being the bus... Our bus is currently in the shop getting some much needed TLC. No bus, no touring. Pretty simple math. Also, Aaron is still nursing his throat and will be back good as ever soon enough."

The pattern developing this year seems to be entirely around newer acts in their first or second runs on the tour. Previous cancellations came from Spitalfield, From First to Last, Gatsbys American Dream, He Is Legend and The Fall of Troy.

to opeth suck. if you went to warped tour you would probably get your a$$ kicked. I went to warped at nassau coliseum and I saw some of the craziest sh*t ever in the pit. Granted not all the bands on warped tour are good, actually alot of them suck, but there was enough good ones for me to go. any way my point is i saw crazier stuff at warped then i saw at ozzfest. people were getting carried out on strechers at warped tour. kids were in the pit till they could not go on anymore. that was not going on at ozzfest. actually the pits at ozzfest were pretty weak. I had fun at warped and ozzfest. my point is dont knock something liked warped tour till you experience it for yourself and trust me its a pretty crazy experience.

Yeah that karate bs is weak as hell. At SOTU last year in Detroit all of the slamdancers busted into the karate kid pit and owned them. Was nice to see em' take a shot instead of just sitting there flailing like a retard on crack.

They got carried out on stretchers because they would accidently kick someone in the face lol I hate that karate sh** and I never understood it. WARPED TOUR IS GAY AS f*** AND SO ARE YOU!!! Why don't you have fun at the new Atreyu tour coming up! I'm sure you'll be there right in the front! I don't need to go to warped tour and I never will because I do not like a single band that is there. And from what I've noticed, and I'm sure a lot of other people have too, that the best pits usually happen in the places like House of Blues and venues that are smaller in size. That's why in Chicago the Gigantour is going to be at the Congress Theater. And for the record I've been to a lot of crazier sh** then f***ing Warped Tour and didn't get my a$$ kicked.

wow you must have went to a sh**ty ozzfest warlockzero. The one I went to in West Palm was f***ing nuts, durring mudvayne (even though they suck) people in the grass section were going crazy, ripping up huge chunks of sod and beating each other with it. There were tons of cops and security guards that were beating people down with battons and then slapping the cuffs on. They were even bring out the stun guns, I don't know if you've ever seen someone get hit with one of those but it's awesome! Hell and on the second stage The Haunted or maybe it was Black Daliha that had the crowd do the wall of death. If you don't know what the wall of death is then you sir are a p***y, just like the warped tour and all the bands that play it and anyone who likes said bands.

to opeth suck and everyone else, first of all i hate the so called hardcore or as you call it karate pits. im into the old school pushing and shoving pit. ive actually gone after people in those pits where they are kicking and punching. I hate going to shows where that should not even be going on. every idiot at almost every show does it. i hate it. all i was trying to say was that warped tour was an interesting experience. its idiotic mayhem done by idiots. and for every one that knocks warped remember certain bands that you might like have done warped as well as ozzfest, such as hatebreed among others. and every one seems to be against the hardcore pit so i have a question for everyone. Why the fu*k is it going on at every show. if everyone is against it then stop doing it. And i dont want anyone saying to come to a slayer show because those type of pits dont happen there. thats a lie. during lamb of god all it was was everyone wailing their fist like a bunch of retards. even during slayer it was going on altough there was also a old school pit as well. anyway i understand why people who are into metal hate warped but people should try to have a open mind. thats all im saying and opeth suck, opeth do suck big time so that is the only thing i agree with you on
