The Human Abstract Post Another New Song Online
Los Angeles-based technical progressive metal band THE HUMAN ABSTRACT has released a second song from their upcoming Hopeless Records debut, "Nocturne". Check out the track "Vela, Together We Await the Storm" at myspace.com/thehumanabstract.
Due on August 22, "Nocturne" was recorded at a studio in North Carolina with with producer Jamie King (BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD, HE IS LEGEND). Mixing duties were handled by Eric Rachel (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, ATREYU).
THE HUMAN ABSTRACT initially caught the attention of Hopeless Records after recording a two-song demo and hitting the local venues with a relentless do-it-yourself attitude and intense and unbridled live shows. Influenced by American and European metal, the band draws inspiration from progressive and classical music creating an extremely creative style that is as much technical as it is powerful.
