Jon Oliva's Pain Cancel Acoustic Show In Cologne

JON OLIVA'S PAIN have issued the following update:

"Unfortunately the JOP acoustic show in Cologne, Germany (June 28th) had to be cancelled due to organizational reasons. JOP's booking agency is trying to fix a new date for this show."

Jon Oliva's Pain have scheduled in-store signing sessions on Friday, June 30th at 5 PM at Saturn Nürnberg in Nürnberg, Germany, and in Frankfurt, Germany at Musikladen Frankfurt (Stiftstr. 9 - 17, 60313) on July 5th at 5 PM.

Jon Oliva's Pain are issuing their new album, Maniacal Renderings, via AFM Records. A five-song EP called Straight Jacket Memoirs was released on June 23rd featuring three new songs from the upcoming CD and two live tracks. According to the label these live tracks were recorded during the band's European tour in April and not during the 2004 - 2005 'Tage Mahal tour as originally announced.

Maniacal Renderings was recorded at Audio Lab Studios in Tampa, Florida and is described in a press release as "a more progressive, complex and dramatic edge without sacrificing any of the song writing quality that fans have come to expect during Oliva's 25-year career."

Jon Oliva's Pain have confirmed a number of acoustic shows in Europe this summer. Upcoming Oliva live dates are as follows:
