"Metal is a huge part of the world's musical landscape," says No Island's Executive Director Trevor Andrews, "and thanks to our partnership with Framus and Dana B. Goods, we are given the opportunity to explore the various nuances of this genre, promote emerging musicians and discuss sound and production techniques in a forum that leaves lifestyle issues to other media outlets.

Creating good metal is a skill. By looking at the differences found within this vast universe of heavy sound we hope to support the next generation of hard rockers and heady noise craftsmen."
