Official Press Release:

In light of nu-metal's recent death and newfound underground status by most bands who play it or are just beginning to play it, we proudly present the new nu-Metalunderground.com. Metalunderground.com will be devoting all of its resources to promoting this once-loved genre starting tomorrow, April 2, 2006. Bands such as Korn, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, Godsmack and others will still be covered, probably even more than usual.

"With metalcore, hardcore and most forms of metal back on the rise, there is only one worthy place to dedicate all of our resources," commented the sites owner, known only as "deathbringer." "The other upside is that we can weed out all of those whiners who only want "real metal" or "underground" news now and we'll be supporting what we truly love...until emo goes back underground at least."

A new site desgin with a more nu-metal feel will be forthcoming. Thank you for your time and patronage.
