Losa Part with Metal Blade, Two Band Members, and Cancel Tours
Losa have apparently been dropped by Metal Blade Records. Details haven't been revealed, but the group states the following: "Working with them was an enlightening experience, one [we] will not soon forget. You will be happy to know that they wish us 'good luck in our future endeavors,' which they hope are extremely successful. Other labels are already interested, so no worries."
Meanwhile, both drummer Dave Hall and guitarist Kory Koch have left the band for undisclosed reasons. The Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX outfit is now in search of replacements. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. Losa has cancelled their April tours with Deadbird and Yakuza and their scheduled appearance at the New England Metal and Hardcore Fest is currently "up in the air." Regarding the future, the band has issued the statement:
"So what next? Well, for now it's back to the practice room to begin writing the next album. Tentative plans are to have the writing process done by early fall with recording to follow shortly thereafter. Once a drummer is secured Losa will return to the road, hopefully in about two months time. In the meantime, be on the lookout for a new site by Devastating Designs."
