Single Bullet Theory Issue Update on 'The Killing Floor' CD

Vocalist/guitarist Matt Difabio of the Philadelphia-based metallers SINGLE BULLET THEORY has issued the following update on the band's current activities:

"As of now, SINGLE BULLET THEORY is finishing all the vocals [for the new album, 'The Killing Floor'] at Angry Chair Studios. The disc is VERY heavy and without a doubt will blow the last one ('Behind Eyes of Hatred') outta the water. We approached the song writing from a completely new approach this time and spent tons of time re-arranging and re working things that didn't fit 100%. There is a lot less experimental shit on the disc and more just balls out heaviness.

"The band has gotten a lot of flak over the years for trying some things that aren't in the 'typical metal' scheme. With this disc, we went back to the drawing board a few times till 'we got it right.'

"Since we have spent so much time trying to get this disc 'perfect,' we felt that it needed a mix that far exceeded anything we have done in the past. Originally, we planned on mixing it ourselves at Angry Chair but we feel we may be selling the disc a little short. So... we have decided that the best man for this job is none other then Eddy Garcia (PISSING RAZORS, MINISTRY). The disc will be sent down to El Paso, Texas in the coming weeks and Eddy will work his magic. Eddy is by far one of the most under-rated producers in metal and without a doubt will make this record stand out.

"In other news, SINGLE BULLET THEORY will be resurfacing live in the spring / summer. For now, anyone in Philly can come see 1/3 of SINGLE BULLET THEORY play May 7th for the POSEIDON reunion at the Whisky Tango."

As previously reported, a "rough-mix" version of a brand new SINGLE BULLET THEORY track, entitled "Sea of Inequity", has been made available for download at this location. It can also be heard online at www.myspace.com/singlebullettheory.
