SLAYER's longtime manager Rick Sales had previously commented on the tour, "We want to make 'The Unholy Alliance' tour an annual global event, so we decided to be smart about the design from the beginning. We chose to book most of the tour's shows at indoor venues, as that allows the bands and the fans amenities like air conditioning and indoor bathrooms, as well as the very best stage lighting, production, and sound and less expensive concession prices. The few shows that will be played outside will be played at night in permanent facilities with our lighting, production, and so on. Everyone wins."

Holy sh**! They are coming to Canada and i'm f***ing going. I never saw Slayer before and they are my favourite band ever. I saw LOG and Bodom 3 times and they both kick a$$ live. I saw Mastodon and they were pretty good. But what the f*** is Thine eyes bleed, i've never heard of them before. ANYWAY it is going to kick a$$ (July 4th in T.O.). Can't wait, I nearly crapped myself when I saw the Toronto date.
All i have to say is that i am a huge fan of slayer and lamb of god...mastodon and bodom are awesome, dont know much about thine eyes bleed (other than the bassist is the brother of Tom Araya...chould be good). I am coming out of that concert with at least a black eye...maybe some missing teeth, this is going to be freakin' sweet
Cleveland, OH, June 30th, is gonna rock!!! I'm gonna bring a friend or two, and we will be up front, maybe close to moshpit as possible.... :) :) :) :) :)
Too bad they aren't coming to Pittsburgh, PA... I would really mosh it there, since I am from around PIttsburgh, and know all the arenas and pavilions around the city...
Go Slayer!
July 11 Edmonton FUCH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

f*** this motherf***ing horsesh** media grabbing bullsh** tour...
nokia live wanted $49.50...having seen slayer more times than fingers on my hands i can safely say they are NOT worth this money.
and if it's not a general admission ticket a slayer show sucks. having slammed metallica and the likes repeatedly for outrageous sh** like this i'm beyond p***ed at a 50 dollar ticket.
ugh sellouts
dude, i saw them in feb. of last year for $26 during the raining blood tour (the most i've ever paid to see slayer was $28)
but i wouldn't be caught dead shelling out even 35 dollars for this show. this is out of their element.
add in the $12 for parking and this is a 60-70 dollar piss away contest.
i remember when pearl jam didn't tour because they couldn't get their concert tickets below 20 f***ing dollars.
this is complete bullsh** and i have a hard time believing that they would be ok with this
5 quality bands my forsaken ass
children of bodom = trend kids new favorite target...this band crippled after hatebreeder but nobody would know that because all they know of this band is their downloaded needled 24/7 glam fest garbage.
lamb of god = the saviours of american metal to kids who know sh** about in memorium, goatwhore and so on. this band eats sh** and hasn't played longer than a 30 second hackneyed solo in their entire existence. they ride the coat tail of reproducing the same song 35 times. the nickleback of metal along with devildriver.
thine eyes bleed arent so bad but were better when i paid ummm $12 to see them the first time
mastodon is the only real credible opener in this act.
this will all boil down to personal taste and none of you will ever win with my disgruntled arse. i have so much hatred for the music industry right now it's unbelievable.
and DO NOT test my fanship to slayer. i may be p***ed but i doubt anybody else on this site drove 5 hours to see a performance with the f***ing lame chimiara. this is justifiable only because i own show no mercy, haunting the chapel, and reign in blood on cassete, vinyl, and f***ing cd. i have a right to b**** about them taking more money from my pocket if i damn well please.
i forgave them for undisputed attitude and god hates us all but jesus nailed upside down christ
charging a ticket price like this for a genre of music that maybe appeals to 1/50th of the american population is ridiculous. what a shame
Brad for once I totally agree with you it seems shows are getting more and more expensive but the music is getting more and more lame.
The only way you will get me to pay top money for a show is if it is a 2-3 day long gig with 20 bands. No one band is worth my hard earned $50. I am a fan of all types on music I even hate mainstream more because like an Areosmith their tickets go into the hundreds. I would rather spend $17 and go watch a bunch of mediocre up and coming bands.
I spent that amount of money and saw Btbam,Cephliac Carnage,Black Daliha Murder, & Into the Moat and it was a good show. In my opinion I think the only one here worth seeing is Slayer. The rest are just bands that if you listen close enough to them there is 50 others just like them. I will spend a sh** load of money to go see the Maryland Death Festival but like i said the line up is nuts and there is a ton of bands.
I guess when you have Rent,Car payment, & a gazillion other bills its hard to piss $50 on 4 bands that really aren't worth it.
Ya'll may disagree with me,but...log hasn't let me down the 2 times Iv seen them live. Yeah, they may lack in the guitar solo of their songs, but HOLY f***!!They can tear a place up! And after seein Mastadon at OF 05' I would gladly see them again. Slayer is what seals the deal. Because of my previous geographical location, I never had the chance to see them live. 6/6/6 couldn't come soon enough...but at least we can agree that CoB sux azzhole. And I'm hopin Thine eyes bleed does a good opening.
i really dont get y some of yall dont like children of bodom all there sh** is good tho are u dead yet was a little weak imo, all of the bands r good and yes brad so wat log has never done a solo longer then 30 secs. maybe willie adler isnt the next steve vai hes still a good guitarist, yes mastodon is amazin,
Come to St.John's, Newfoundland!!! We need someone good! The last concerts we had were effing Rex Goudie and Hillary Duff, save us! Slayer, Children of Bodom, Lamb of God and Mastadon are amazing and it would be a dream to see them in concert!... Come to St.John's!
brad is p***ed, aaahhhhhhh where do i begin. If you dont wanna pay that price for the gig, then dont go. Nobody gives a f*** if your there or not. Secondly it is f***ing douche bags like you that poison the metal scene. You think your some kind of authority on what is good and what is not, i like all bodom albums with follow the reaper being the first i heard and my favourite so dont believe the sh** you dribble about trend fans. Finally lamb of god are nothing like nickleback and neither are devildriver, that is just wrong, period. if you sat a test with the question, 'are lamb of god and devildriver like nickleback? and you answered yes it would be marked incorrect and the teacher would slap your b**** a$$ down.
lol what in the f***...
you dipsh**s completely missed the point of the comparison. it wasn't the fact that their genres or musical styles are similar at all. I was hoping that maybe some of the non-retarded general public would realized that (much like our recycled pop example:nickleback) lame of god simply reproduce the same garbage repeatedly.
dumbsh** mallrats. and to sum up my feelings about children of bodom:
"The kings of melodic power Death Metal have succumbed to their worldwide fame. They’re following in the footsteps of bands like In Flames and Soilwork; going down the toilet, to be frank”.
I have no need to add anything else to this...
A few of my friends are going to the July 4th concert in Toronto. I'd like to go but I can't really afford it right now. Children Of Bodom are pretty good, Lamb Of God are good, Slayer is really good, I haven't heard Mastadon or Thine Eyes Bleed, I'd probably like them though.
Sorry Brad, but Lamb of God has done 3 distinct sounding albums plus their Burn The Priest stuff. They definitely have their trademark sound, but are no more recycled than most other bands who have a consistent sound/style. New American Gospel and Ashes of the Wake both kick some major a$$ and sound very different (more regular thrash in the latter).
I'm not a huge fan of the other openers/support, but I wouldn't be so harsh on them either... Pretty much all these bands have enough good material to play good sets even if you're not a big fan of the bands.
I'll be looking forward to this tour if it comes near the DC area.

The reason they dont show up in the south, dominoes is because people from the south of the us are a bunch of retarded p****s who cant string 2 words together and who like playin tonsel hockey with their cousins
-------------------
suck my c*** you b**** a$$ emo p***y! and they are coming to the south! keep your mouth shut before somebody rightfully shuts your c***sucking a$$ up forever!
O ya I forgot, you all should get ready because metal is about to F****ng suck. We are all on the tail end of it. Look at history. NWOBHM is to Metallica as Swedish Death metal is to "name your band here". We are a Bob Rock away from fu**ing this whole thing up.
f*** yeah this is going to be a concert i will never forget i already got my ticket (i've got the golden ticket) lol f*** ozzfest this year the only good band that is going to play is ozzy and his band but the rest of the bands that r going to be there blow! I never saw bodom live i was very close but the tickets got sold out but i did see lamb of god and they were awesome
f***ing ignorant sh**. ive seen some hot piece of ass. if you wanna the parts in the south were people actually f*** their sisters go to albama or arkansas. atlanta is just as civalized as new york so you can go suck my c***. go to little 5 points thats more cilvalized then new york wich is overated by the way. little 5 is the land of anti bush bumper stickers and all kinds of good sh**. 2 great record storesthat sell great metal imports. swedish death metal is overated too. norway is the real deal. sweden has become a trendy place now.
the south has hot chicks who arent fat and old like the ones who you think they have, mastodon, hallows eve, early 90's death metal scene, a couple of record store dedicated to metal, better metal bands then ones in sweden, the masquerade (a famous atlanta nightclub), etc.etc.etc.
only 3 good bands came out of swedenand they are bathory, meshuggah, and opeth. plus more people get std's in the north then the south you dumbf***.
georgia>new york
seven churches, no offence but go fudge yourself. You think your a real hard case using all that bad language. Does your daddy know that your being rude on his pc. And by the way i hate emo music its nearly as gay as your uncle, I like bands like 1349 and Darkthrone.
LOG is the most overrated f***ing band in the history of rock. Musically i agree they're amazing but once their piece of sh** vocalist opens his mouth the officially suck. Thats the only reason i dont pay 2 cents for anything they do. He's the most phoney "rocker" on the face of the earth that sounds just like every other hardcore b**** out there. I hope we can boo em off the stage in Albany
now this is wht i call a perfect combination of bands tht the demand of each and every metalhead will be fullfiilled by lamb of god children f bdom mastodon thine eyes bleed and fcorurse the gods r here in the name of SLAYER witout which one can't think of metal

This is going to be the best annual tour ever....f*** ozzfest, 2004 was the only decent show because slayer was there and lamb of god. 2003 was alright, it will be good to see mastodon again.
