Sothis To Have Track Featured On Horror Movie, "Bloodshed"

US symphonic black metallers, SOTHIS, will have the track "Sinister Nation" featured in the upcoming release of the feature horror/thriller film "Bloodshed." Produced by Drainbamage Films and directed by Jim McMahon, "Bloodshed" has been completed and is represented worldwide by Strategic Film Partners. There is no current domestic release date, but Spotlight Pictures is currently handling all sales for non-domestic markets. A trailer for "Bloodshed" is located at spotlight-pictures.com or check out the director's blog at bloodshedmovie.blogspot.com.

SOTHIS was recently named the "#1 Demo/Indie of 2005" in Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles Magazine (Issue #93). The bands' 4-track demo (which includes "Sinister Nation") is available as a limited edition digipak through the website at sothis.us. The demo is also available for complete download through the site, or through the band's My Space page. SOTHIS is currently in talks with labels and the band plans to release their debut full length in late 2006 or early 2007.
