You can now check out Dimmu Borgir's new Stormblåst Ecard. As an interlude between Death Cult Armageddon and the forthcoming album (which will be released in late 2006), DIMMU BORGIR decided to re-release their second album Stormblåst. But it turned out not to be an effortless re-release. The band fully re-recorded the album for this occasion! With Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy) back at the helm as producer and MAYHEM’s Hellhammer on drums (Nick Barker departed in January 2005), the band sought to enhance a pristine dimension to the album and they have undeniably done so! The re-recorded edition of Stormblåst is far more forceful and ominous than the original. Stormblåst hits the streets on February 7th, 2006.

As previously reported, Dimmu Borgir's "Death Cult Armageddon" recently scanned 101,418 units to date in the United States. Released on September 9th, 2003 and debuting on the Billboard Top 200 at number 169, "Death Cult Armageddon" received multiple "Best Metal Album of the Year" accolades and had two songs featured in the trailer for the highly successful Hellboy movie.
