Swedish black metallers DARK FUNERAL have posted the following message on their official web site:
"First we would like to thank everyone who participated and voted for what songs you want us to play during our upcoming tour. Out of the 5120 votes we got in total, we have now, with your help, put together a literally killer setlist for the upcoming European tour. We are currently rehearsing the new setlist and it's going very well. By the time the tour kicks off in Helsinki [Finland] on February 21, I'm convinced that we will all be in top shape."
Here are the most requested songs from each of DARK FUNERAL's albums, as voted on by the group's fans:
* From "Diabolis Interium": "The Arrival of Satan's Empire"
* From "Attera Totus Sanctus": "666 Voices Inside"
* From "Vobiscum Satanas": "Vobiscum Satanas"
* From "The Secrets of the Black Arts": "My Dark Desires"
* From DARK FUNERAL's debut MCD: "Open the Gates"
As previously reported, Regain Records will be releasing picture-disc and gatefold-LP versions of DARK FUNERAL's latest album, "Attera Totus Sanctus", on February 20. More information is available at DarkFuneral.se.
"Attera Totus Sanctus" was recorded and mixed by Daniel Bergstrand (MESHUGGAH, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, IN FLAMES, BEHEMOTH) and Örjan Örnkloo (MISERY LOVES CO.) at Dug-Out studios in Uppsala, Sweden between May 23 and July 15, and August 8 and August 19, 2005. Mastering duties were handled by Tomas Eberger at the Cutting Room in Stockholm, Sweden. The CD features a guest appearance by former MESHUGGAH bassist Gustaf Hielm.
DARK FUNERAL currently features vocalist/bassist Emperor Magnus Caligula, guitarist Lord Ahriman, guitarist Chaq Mol, and drummer Matte Modin.
