FIREBALL MINISTRY appeared on NBC-TV’s “Last Call With Carson Daly” on last night. On the special hour-long show, the band performed “Sundown,” the first single from their newly released THEIR ROCK IS NOT OUR ROCK (Liquor & Poker Music) CD as well as “King” from their previous album The Second Great Awakening (Nuclear Blast, 2003). FIREBALL MINISTRY are the first music act to utilize pyrotechnics in their performance on the show since it relocated to Los Angeles this fall.

In other TV news, the video for “Sundown” has just been added to MTV2’s Headbanger’s Ball and will make its debut on Saturday, December 17. The clip can be viewed on launch.yahoo.com, rollingstone.com, aolmusic.com, and liquorandpokermusic.com.

After wrapping tours with H.I.M., Opeth, CKY, Nevermore, Pelican, Finch and Skindred, among others, FIREBALL MINISTRY will kick-off an East Coast trek with Clutch on December 26, marking their fifth outing since August. In addition, the band will perform a special one-off gig at the Knitting Factory in New York City on Thursday, December 29. On January 22, the band will join Disturbed for a show at the House of Blues in Anaheim.

THEIR ROCK IS NOT OUR ROCK, the group’s third full-length, was produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Queens of The Stone Age, Velvet Revolver, Foo Fighters), engineered by Mike Terry (Halford, Ash) and recorded at Dave Grohl’s and Elliot Smith’s studios.
