What makes me laugh about this list is the fact that Corrosion Of Conformity's cd is better than Btbam? Cold day in hell.

nevermore's album should be #1. opeth's new one is a love or hate thing, i didn't like it. but i know plenty of people who loved it. DT's new album ruled and it should be higher on that list, overall better than other lists i've seen :)

holygod, thats much better than that rubish/compost heap list fromCloseup.....

Alot of racket is being made about Jesu, though I myself haven't checked them out yet.....They're on alot of lists this year.

I've loved Opeth since "Still Life" came out and by odd chance am listening to "Ghost of Perdition" (the winamp picked this out of 4000 songs) as of this post. A fantastic and deserving record IMHO....

I'd like to see SYL's next record be at or near the top of these lists, they've been plugging away for years, they need to get the full attention they deserve.

I'm not much of a Clutch fan but they too ought to be more publicly acknowledged if for nothing more than being unmoved by trends and growing a rabid and violently loyal fanbase.

Strangely I'm happy to see that Rammstein can still turn heads as well. Nevermore are certainly on a roll popularly speaking as well.
