Indianapolis-based death/thrash metal band DEMIRICOUS have posted the following message on their official web site:

"We just put up two new mp3's from our new CD. The tracks that we put up are 'Vagrant Idol' and 'To Serve Is To Destroy'. Please check them out and tell your friends about them! If you tell five people and they each tell five people who each tell five people, then a lot of people will hear about the new music!!!

"In mid-December we will be flying into NYC to do a video with producer Dale Restighini. We will be doing the video for the track 'Vagrant Idol'. We are super stoked to work with Dale. We have heard nothing but kick-ass things and he's been awesome to work with so far! There may be a casting call for the video so be on the look out! You may have a chance to be in the video with us!!!!

"For any of you that didnt know, our record is coming out January 24th on Metal Blade Records. We are hoping to be on tour starting early January but if push comes to shove, we won't be touring until early February. Speaking of touring, we have a show tomorrow (Saturday, December 3rd, 2005) at the Melody Inn in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Inn has limited capacity so make sure you get out there early to get a ticket. We also just confirmed on six weeks with STILL REMAINS in March/April. The tour will start on the East Coast and run through Canada and all over the U.S. ending close to early May. The tour should be pretty kick-ass so make sure you come out and party with us!!"

As previously reported, DEMIRICOUS have set "One (Hellbound)" as the title of their Metal Blade Records debut. The album was recorded in June 2005 at Planet Z studios with producer Zeuss (HATEBREED, SHADOWS FALL).

The band had previously stated about the upcoming CD: "We are just trying to write a solid thrash album and we hope to add something different to today's metal scene. I don't know what direction we are going in but not a whole lot of bands are going this direction. We are just playing the music that we want to hear. Plain and simple."

Good stuff! I was bit dissapointed on their way too short set last saturday
but they have a new drummer that they only jammed with in a few practice sessions
and the bass amp went out on Nate so I understood their reasons but Amongst
The Swarm crushed the Melody Inn along with this badass band and I wished I
picked up one of thier cds at the show a fine chicago metal band called Lair Of
The Minotaur kicked my a$$ literally!!
