Daylight Dies Signs To Candlelight Records
Candlelight Records announces the worldwide signing of Raleigh, North Carolina-based DAYLIGHT DIES. The band's label debut, Dismantling Devotion, is currently being completed at The Cutting Room in Solna, Sweden and is expected for release in early 2006.
Formed in 1996, Terrorizer Magazine called Daylight Dies 2003 debut "memorable and engaging." Outburn Magazine proclaimed, "pristine doom metal." And Digital Metal added, "a combination of dark melody and deathly aggression." With Dismantling Devotion, the band look to further their already growing profile. Drummer Jesse Haff says "it is certainly the most mature material we've written to date. For us it is a strong progression that really shows off our emotionally dark and desperate music; a diverse mix of melancholic, melodic and exceedingly heavy songs."
