Acid Bath To Release Demos and Rarities Collection

The remaining members of Acid Bath approached Rotten Records with the idea to put out unreleased/alternate and demo versions of songs from their cult classic releases, 'When the Kite String Pops' and 'Paegan Terrorism Tactics'. An agreement was reached and you can expect a street date in late Nov. Tentatively titled 'Hymns of the Needle Freak', this record will contain takes and demo versions of classic Acid Bath songs. Also, Rotten will have the exclusive rights to release a limited edition run of Deadboy and the Elephantmen, "If This is Hell, Then I'm Lucky." Look for a release date soon.

Acid Bath were pure genius - far ahead of their time - but the death of Audie quenched a flame that would have grown into a raging, riff-driven inferno of bayou based glory...so let the forthcoming "Hymns" be unleashed!!!

I am glad to hear some who remember Acid Bath and liked them as well. It's a shame that their time was so short. I absolutely loved the two albums they released.
