Nickelback's forthcoming studio album, "All The Right Reasons" will feature a tribute to Dimebag Darrell.

The track "Side of a Bullet" will serve to honour the memory of Pantera/Damageplan guitarist Dimebag Darrell. Dime collaborated with Nickelback previously on a cover of "Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)" for the Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle soundtrack.

"All the Right Reasons" is slated for a 3rd October release.

Oh my Christing Jesus.......

It's more than "OK" to celebrate a dead hero or lost friend, I just hope these sellouts aren't doing this to turn a profit.

I think that this is complete bullsh**. One thing is that these guys are a stupid rock band. And Dimebag just was with these guys once in his life. I think that this stunt was just for the money which is really f***ed up.

Granted Nickelback may not be a metal band, but that doesn't mean they can't do a tribute to a fallen hero. These guys could very well be Pantera fans. They're not just doing the song cause they hung out with him during the "Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)" cover. Staind did a song about Layne Staley, and I'd be willing to bet that Aaron Lewis never hung out with Layne Staley. I personally think the song will probably be pretty good, and I'm prepared for the backlash that I'll probably receive after you guys read my post.

Its not about that Nickelback is not metal or they didnt know Dimebag, its about fkin NickelBack people. No real metalhead would support this, if they did they need to go to the punk community.

Wow. This just f***ed up my whole day. I get that they could be fans/friends/ influensed by DIme. But if you seriously think about this their doing it for the money. Juat cause the album is gonna have a tribute to Dime doesn't mean that they have to announce it to the whole f***ing world.

You guys should get some lives and shut the f*** up!
I am no Nickelback fan but none of you have any f***ing clue whethor or not the guys in the band knew Darrell on a personal level. Just because their band sucks does not mean that they are not entitled to tribute the greatest thrash god of our time!

Who cares if you don't think their a heavy band. Dimebag himself played with these guys on one of their songs and from what I read he was a friend of the band. And anyway who cares who pays tribute to the man as long as he is still remembered.
