Megadeth’s David Ellefson Premieres New Single “Hammer Comes Down”, Alter Bridge, Sacred Reich, Ex-Megadeth, Etc. Members Guest

Megadeth bassist David Ellefson premieres a lyric video for his new single “Hammer Comes Down“. That track finds Thom Hazaert and Eric AK handling vocal duties. Mark Tremonti (Alter Bridge) , guitarist Chris Poland (ex-Megadeth) and guitarist Joey Radziwill (Sacred Reich ) and drummer Dave McClain (ex-Machine Head) also guest on the song.

“Hammer Comes Down“ is taken from “Sleeping Giants“, an impending companion album for Ellefson‘s new biography , ‘More Life With Deth‘, which is expected to land in stores on July 16th.

I mean, I understand why it's so loud... and usually I like loud bass. But it's way too loud. The mix really suffers because of it.

Hey, I'm digging it. The music, those riffs...it rocks. I can hear some old Megadethish chugging in there. Whoever was in charge of the mixdown didn't know what they were doing because you can't hear the vocals.
