This is f***in awesome!

There's some weird hissing/splashing thing going on with the cymbals early on but only for a few seconds and it's gone. Overall the production is awesome and, stylistically, it reminds of The Oath from Mercyful Fate; only better because Tim Baker is a better singer than that cartoon/Mickey Mouse/King Diamond and overall CU is better. Not that the Danes suck by any means.

Lyrically, I'm also getting a Kyrie Eleison vibe from that Connecticut band on this song, which is about as awesome as it gets.

Best news in a long time! Love the pounding and grooving old-school riffs and Robert Garven's drumming suffered none at all from his semi retirement. This has that trademark Cirith Ungol weirdness and also that trademark Cirith Ungol coolness. Like some missing link/song from between One Foot in Hell and Paradise Lost. They never put out a single bad song let alone a bad album during their initial run so hopefully we get a full length.
