Somethings ---REALLY--- funny about the fact that post one and two think theres any kind of major difference between these two bands.

Similar vocals. Bass heavy riffs. Same song structures. Same angst. Both started on indie labels (Chevelle on squint, Taproot on velvet hammer) Both with radio singles that sound alike....

heres a contest......

Someone tell me exactly how differnt "Poem" sounds from "The Red".........

If that can be done with any kind of grace or intellect I'll be beside myself.

I'm not coming down on either of these bands. For what they are I think their decent but one band could pass for the other any day of the week.
