U.K. based black/death metal act Stahlsarg will be releasing the sophomore full length album "Mechanisms of Misanthropy" on Halloween day, October 31st, via Non Serviam Records. Today, the band teamed up with MetalUnderground.com to premiere the brand new single "Blond Poison", which is featured on the album.

Pre-order the album at this location.

Stahlsarg was formed in 2013 and hails from Suffolk. Discovered in the demo writing days by Hellhammer of Mayhem who approached the band for a shirt, and off the back of that meeting, a London support show was secured. Thus began a succession of U.K. and European shows playing alongside bands such as Endstille, Handful of Hate, Excruciate666 and Crystal Viper, to name a few.

The band internationally released the first album "Comrades in Death" through the Danish label Mighty Music in 2015 which garnered positive press online and in print publications in Europe and was aired over online radio stations.

The new release "Mechanisms of Misanthropy" was recorded by Danny B Takoma (Criminal, Lockup) at HVR studios in Suffolk, who also took on production duties on the band’s debut album. The album features a guest vocal appearance from Kim Dylla (A Winter Lost, GWAR, Kung Fu Dykes) and an arrangement from Brian Moss of Vicious Pink. "Mechanisms of Misanthropy" brings a darker and more atmospheric sound to the band, with the introduction of a gothic guitar sound, samples and the bassist Destruction playing tuba and trombone.

The new additions to the sound enhances the lyrical journey of tales in a time of oppression, survival and death. Song subjects include the Norwegian resistance hero Jan Baalsrud and Sophie Scholl and the White Rose movement. From fast to the melancholic and bombastic to magisterial atmospheres, "Mechanisms of Misanthropy" is maximized by a variety of sounds and hard-hitting lyrical content.

Specifically on the song "Blonde Poison," the band commented: "This emotive song is about Stella Goldschlag who gives up on her cultural background and religious beliefs as a means to her own survival at the detriment of others in a time of hatred and oppression."

The album's track listing is:

1. Raise The Dead
2. Das Fallbeil
3. Blonde Poison
4. Pharmaceutical Frontline
5. Far Beyond The Dragons Teeth.
6. Burn and Destroy
7. Hope Lies Frozen
8. A Will To Endure
9. Aerial Night Terrorists
10. In The Lungs Of The Earth
10. Infernal Aphorism
