Chimaira is due to reunite this December following a three-year hiatus. The band uploaded a single image to Mark Hunter's Facebook confirming that the classic lineup from "The Impossibility of Reason" and "Resurrection" will be reuniting later this year.

This revelation comes only three months after news hit that drummer Andols Herrick was hospitalized for a severe illness.

The band is scheduled to play a first reunion show at the Agora Theater on December 30th in Cleveland, Ohio an no further shows have been confirmed.

Andols Herrick is slated to take part in the reunion. This marks the first reunion of the classic lineup since 2010. Additional information will be covered as more information becomes available.

I thought Andols had really bad health issues at one point.
Glad to see the old line up back in action.
